Robotic Welding at AMW and EMEX: Two Big Shows In 2026.
Published on 17 June 2026
Autoa Robot Welding exhibited at two tradeshows in May 2026. We brought robotic welding to Australian Manufacturing Week in Brisbane and to EMEX in Auckland. Thank you to everyone who came to see us.
Australian Manufacturing Week ran from 12th to 14th May 2026 at the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre, where we exhibited at Stand 2575. EMEX followed from 26th to 28th May 2026 at Stand 3035 in Auckland.
Robotic Welding Across Two Countries
We met manufacturers, fabricators and directors from across Australia and New Zealand. Some were looking at robotic welding for the first time, others were ready to add another cell or upgrade older equipment. Whatever stage they were at, the same two pressures came through in nearly every conversation. Skilled labour is hard to find and costs are rising, and robotic welding keeps coming up as part of the answer.
We also handed out more than 1200 pairs of Autoa socks, with plenty of people coming back for a second pair.
Live Demonstrations and the Case for Sovereign Capability
At both stands we ran live demonstrations of AutoaWeld offline programming software, taking a part from CAD model through to a finished weld program without long setup times.
It is the shift more manufacturers are making, from programming on the teach pendant to programming straight from a CAD model.
At Australian Manufacturing Week, our Managing Director, Matthew Fisher, spoke as part of the Future Solutions speaker program, making the case for sovereign manufacturing capability. It’s a topic that matters right now. Supply chains are under pressure and skilled labour is hard to find. Automation is a big part of how local manufacturers stay competitive and keep work onshore.
A big thank you to everyone who stopped by.
Catch us at Australian Manufacturing Week in Melbourne, 11th to 14th May 2027. More details coming soon.
