Chain And Belt welding Rotator.
Chain and belt rotators are heavy duty welding rotators used to support and rotate structural steel components into the optimal welding position. Suited to beams, columns, box sections and large fabricated assemblies, these systems provide smooth, controlled rotation while reducing crane movements and manual handling. They allow operators to maintain consistent welding positions across long seams and multi pass welds. By positioning the weld for the operator, they improve access, arc time and overall productivity.
In structural steel and heavy fabrication workshops, chain rotators are selected for strength and positive drive, while belt rotators may be preferred where different load contact or surface protection is required.
Adding a welding rotator to the workflow increases throughput, improves safety and supports more consistent welding results.

Models And Load Capacities.
Our chain and belt rotators are available in a range of load capacities to suit structural steel and heavy fabrication applications.
Standard systems are available from 4,000 kg through to 20,000 kg. This capacity range allows workshops to manage smaller beam fabrication as well as large columns, transport frames and complex heavy assemblies with confidence.
For components outside these standard ratings, a welding rotator can be sized to suit your application. Load weight, section size, centre of gravity and production workflow determine the correct configuration.
Contact us with your part details and fabrication requirements, and we will recommend the most suitable system for your application.
Selecting The Right Positioner.
Selecting the right welding positioner depends on component size, weight, access requirements, and how the part will be presented throughout the welding process. Fixed height, adjustable height, and turn tilt positioners each suit different fabrication needs, from repetitive production work through to more variable or complex assemblies.
If you are assessing suitability for a specific part or application, our team can help confirm capacity, movement requirements, and integration considerations. Get in touch to discuss your application and select the right positioner for your workflow.
