Structural Steel Fabrication
Autoa-SteelWeld Robot Welding Cell Open Day.
Join us at our Blenheim facility for a hands on Autoa-SteelWeld Robot Welding Cell Open Day, where we’ll demonstrate the complete digital-to-production workflow for structural steel fabrication.
These open days are designed for fabricators who want to see how robotic welding is applied in production environments.
Morning and afternoon sessions will be available on each day, with the open days being held on Friday 27th March 2026 and Monday 30th March 2026.
Numbers are limited. Registration is required.

What You Can Expect.
During the day, we’ll run live demonstrations covering the full workflow, including:
- Importing structural steel data directly from Tekla Structures using AutoaWeld
- Batch processing parts for robotic welding
- Automatic weld planning and programming using AutoaWeld
- Live welding on the Autoa-SteelWeld Robot Welding Cell
- Part handling, positioning, and rotation strategies
- Process flow from model to finished weld
The live welding demonstrations will include:
- Full penetration butt welds
- Fillet welds
- Multipass welding

All welding will be carried out on an Autoa-SteelWeld robot welding cell using production components and standard operating parameters. This is not a presentation or a sales pitch. It is a fully operational system running in our facility and welding customer parts under normal production conditions.
