The Solution

Autoa worked with Trailparts to integrate a U-2800 robot welding cell at their Campbellfield facility, improving efficiency and consistency in trailer component production. Configured for medium to large assemblies, the system delivers precise and repeatable welds across a range of parts.

The cell features an OTC Daihen B6 Robot with extended reach, paired with an FD19 Controller and P502L Power Source for reliable performance. A 1PC1000 Positioner supports the handling of heavy components, while an Autoa Tip Cleaning Station reduces downtime. Integrated safety guarding to ISO 10218-1 standards provides a secure operating environment for operators.

The Results

The U-2800 robot welding cell has expanded Trailparts’ manufacturing capability at the Campbellfield site. It has supported the introduction of new products while giving the business greater flexibility in how trailer components are produced.
