The Solution

To support higher production volumes and bring greater efficiency to key weldments, Autoa collaborated with Trimax to deliver a fully configured M-1200 robotic welding cell.

The M-1200 cell includes an OTC FD-B6 through-arm robot, Welbee P500L power source with a 350A air-cooled torch, a 2-position manual rotator for efficient part handling, and an integrated safety system with tip cleaning functionality. The layout was tailored specifically to Trimax’s production needs, enabling fast loading, reliable weld cycles, and smooth integration with their existing fabrication workflows.

To ensure a confident rollout, Autoa provided comprehensive training for Trimax operators and continued support after commissioning, helping their team get the most from the robotic welding system from day one.

The Results

With the M-1200 cell in operation, Trimax has increased output on selected mower components and streamlined part flow through their fabrication area. The robot now handles high-run welds with accuracy and speed, while the manual rotator enables fast, efficient changeovers. The addition of robotic welding has also helped free up experienced welders for more complex fabrication tasks elsewhere in production.

The IMPACT ON Trimax’S BUSINESS

The introduction of robotic welding has expanded Trimax’s in-house manufacturing capability, supporting faster production without adding pressure to manual resources. The M-1200 cell gives their team a dependable solution for high-run parts, improving overall fabrication flow.

Working with Autoa has allowed Trimax to bring advanced welding automation into their operation. It’s added long-term value, reduced lead times, and strengthened their ability to deliver consistent, high-quality products to local and international customers.
