The Controller.
The OTC Daihen and Yaskawa robot controllers are renowned for their advanced capabilities in industrial automation. These controllers are compact yet powerful, designed for managing robots and peripheral motions such as positioners, tracks, and gantries. They can coordinate the motion of multiple robots in a master/slave configuration and control additional external axes, supporting a high number of motion axes. As part of our robotic welding solutions, this high degree of flexibility and control makes them ideal for complex automation tasks.
The Teach Pendant.
Included with both OTC Daihen and Yaskawa robots are teach pendants, which are essential tools for robot programmers and operators to build and execute robot jobs. Both brands offer standard pendants, while Yaskawa also provides the option of the Smart Pendant for select GP-Series models. The Smart Pendant offers a simple-to-use, intuitive programming capability with minimal upfront training, enhancing ease of use for operators.
The Welder.
OTC Daihen’s welding power source lineup is anchored by the top-of-the-line ARXIS welding power sources, designed for robotized welding applications and part of our robotic welding solutions. Powered by the latest Welbee chipset generation, the ARXIS model offers exceptional welding performance, combining high speeds and maximum efficiency, making it ideal for complex welding projects. The Welbee control chip significantly enhances welding performance with precise waveform control, resulting in high-precision, high-quality welding. Additionally, these inverter machines offer power classes ranging from 300 to 500 amps, making them suitable for a wide range of automated welding applications.
The Positioners.
Incorporating positioners into our Autoa robotic welding cells maximises workspace utilization while maintaining the ideal machining position for each task, enhancing efficiency, precision, safety, and versatility. Both OTC Daihen and Yaskawa offer positioners that seamlessly integrate with their respective robotic systems, providing easy programming and versatility for various welding applications.
